While out walking around North Beach today we found a new Brodie harness. While the green was great and only lacked a Green Lantern patch, it got pretty stained so it was time for a new one. Looks pretty dashing in purple, I think!

Foggy morning at the dog park

Pretty typical SF morning. You can hear the fog horn in the distance and the parrots occasionally squawking from the eucalyptus trees in the picture. I'm sitting on some stone steps with a cup of coffee watching Brodie sniff and explore. Not a lot of dogs here this morning. Too cool and foggy maybe. Good sleeping in weather for a long weekend. I see some of Brodie's buddies over in the field so time to wrap this up and head over. :)

Last weekend (August 23rd)

The reason I hadn't blogged in a week or so was due to some sad news. Recently Justin's father died, so last weekend we went down to Orange County for the funeral. While it was a very sad occasion, seeing all the family was just wonderful. Justin's father had 3 sisters and 2 brothers and they were all there (lots of family came from Canada; some people came from Taiwan) and so were all the children who could make it so there were lots of cousins and spouses. Though all gathered for a sad occasion, we all loved getting to see one another and eating delicious food. Justin's brother Willy and his sister-in-law Karen were there and we went out for the best Korean food. I don't want to turn this into another food post, but we did all have some delicious meals that weekend with all the family together.
We got some great pictures of the family and I will post those. I found out the first American city Aunt Clare ever came to was San Francisco (she went to school at Berkley) so I told her I would get her a Cable Car pendant, so that's on my To Do list this weekend. :)

Ikea trip!

Forgot to mention my friend Danielle and I went to ikea last weekend! I got this black metal message board and the hooks and cups to use, only I use them as an organizational station for my makeup brushes, necklaces etc., which I was always leaving in our tiny bathroom. :)
